UPS's are easy to connect and larger UPS's have additional battery packs that plug into the main UPS control unit

Most UPS's include a LCD display with a selectable menu so you can check out information such as - incoming voltage and frequency, output voltage, battery state, the load on the UPS and room temperature

Dialog Battery Backup
The Dialog range of UPS uses digital Line Interactive (VI) technology. The load is powered from the mains through an Automatic Voltage Stabiliser (AVS) to stabilise brownout, sag and surge voltages and EMI filters to suppress spikes and transients. When the mains fail, the load is powered by the inverter with a pseudo sine wave to provide sufficient runtime for computer system shutdown using the PowerShield² software supplied as standard. The UPS also incorporates a filtered socket for PC network and telephone line cable protection

Patron
The Patron UPS range from the 300VA to the 600VA and are ideal for PC, workstation, Epos and small electronic devices. Patron provides compact design benefiting from advanced battery management which constantly monitors the battery to ensure full working conditions at all times, on board diagnostics and battery test to give advanced warning of pending problems and incorporates energy saving design which puts the UPS automatically into 'sleep mode' but the UPS is still fully charged

Proteq
The Proteq UPS range from the 425VA to the 1000VA and are ideal for LAN and Network devices. Proteq UPS continuously provide regulated power to the connected load using battery backup coupled with an automatic voltage regulator to cater for over voltage conditions and mains power failure. It also incorporates a 'buck and boost' circuit which allows the UPS output to be maintained within ideal load parameters even during low and high main's voltage conditions
