Berkshire Telephone Systems established in 1993 as a specialist company in the supply and installation of refurbished telephone systems from 5 extensions to 2000+ extensions.

Today Berkshire Telephone Systems has a wide client base which includes: -

Making A Purchase
This could not be easier. Just browse our On Line Store, and click on any products that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order

BTS standard terms of payments are: Visa, MasterCard and Switch cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to be shipped. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

You may send or advise us of your credit card details via telephone, fax, and snail mail or over the Internet.

If you decide to telephone your credit card details your order must be supported in writing either fax or email.


Special Offers

From time to time BTS will be able to offer products at a discount on the normal On Line Store price. These products are strictly on a "first come, first served basis".
Shipping And Handling
Standard Delivery £5.90 + VAT per order. All orders over £300.00 EX VAT are carriage Free,

Fast Track Delivery charge is £11.00 + VAT per order.

BTS will not be held responsible for loss of time or business due to non arrivals of products.
Delivery Schedule
Standard delivery is between 9 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday, (delivery is normally within 6 business days from the order being process)

Fast Track delivery is between 9 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday, (delivery normally 2 to 3 business days from order being processed)

If there is any delay to this you will be informed by email with the anticipated delivery date.

All deliveries are estimated only, although every effort is made to despatch on time BTS will not accept responsibility for failing to deliver goods on time.

BTS will not accept responsibility for shortages or damage to goods unless the customer notifies BTS of any shortages or damages within 4 days of receipt of goods.

The customer has to accept the goods when they are ready for delivery and will only be delivered to the credit card address unless BTS have written authority to deliver elsewhere.

The title of goods will not pass to the customer until payment is received in full by BTS.
Back Orders
If your chosen product is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped.
Tax Charges
The VAT rate of 17.5% will be added to all orders made from the UK.

Guarantee
BTS makes every effort to supply products as advertised in the on line catalogue, but reserve the right to vary specifications without prior notice. If BTS are unable to supply the products ordered by the customer BTS will offer an alternative product. If this is not acceptable to the customer then the order may be cancelled.

All products supplied by BTS are covered by the manufactures own warranty, unless stated otherwise, warranty is normally 12 months. If a claim is to be made under this warranty then the warranty instructions and warranty procedures must be complied with, therefore, we may put you in touch directly with the product manufacturer

BTS do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' OptionData collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
Returns Policy
Any faulty goods to be returned, the customer must advise BTS via e-mail with full written reason(s) for returning for warranty replacement / repair. (If something is obviously wrong we can e-mail or telephone customer with advice)

We will issue a 'Returns Authorisation Number' on an 'Returns Authorisation Form' and e-mail this to the customer. All questions must be completed.
The customer must pack the goods to be returned in their 'original packaging' and include 'proof of purchase' or 'delivery note' and the completed 'Returns Authorisation Form'.
All accessories, manuals, cables etc must be returned with the faulty goods.
Any goods fitted with toner or inkjet cartridges must be packed separately, any damage caused by spillage will result in a cleaning charge.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure all returned goods are packed securely, BTS will not accept liability for any damage caused during transit.

We recommend that all returned goods are sent by recorded delivery, registered post or courier and have adequate insurance to cover the value of the goods. The customer is responsible for any costs incurred in returning the goods. Upon receipt of returned product(s) they will be tested for the fault(s) that the customer has notified us of. If the product(s) is found to be in good working order then the product(s) will be returned to the customer and the cost of carriage to return the goods to the customer will be the customer’s responsibility. Any goods that have been altered, damaged or not used in accordance with the manufacturers instructions will invalidate any warranty.

Subject to the right of consumers to return goods for refund under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, BTS do not sell products on a trial basis, we therefore, strongly recommend that the customer checks the specification of every product before placing an order. In the event that BTS agrees to accept returned goods for credit the goods must be returned within 14 days. The goods must be unopened and in "as new" condition. All goods returned in this manner will be subject to a handling fee of 15% of the goods value of £10 whichever is greater.


Liability

BTS will not be held responsible for loss of time or business due to faulty products or non-arrival of products.


The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000

Contracts for the purchase of goods by a customer made over the telephone or through the BTS-internet website, are subject to The Customer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Customers may cancel goods, purchased from BTS, by sending a cancellation notice by post, fax or e-mail. The notice of cancellation must be made within 7 days of the date the goods were delivered. The customer must return the goods to BTS and the customer is responsible for any costs incurred in returning goods.


Errors and Omissions

BTS make every effort to ensure that the description and prices quoted on its website are accurate. However, mistakes may occasionally occur, in the event that this happens then BTS will inform the customer of any errors before any goods are despatched.
